WAKESURFING began in Austin TX with one goal in mind:Build light,
fast,
responsive, and durable boards for wakesurfers looking to take their
riding to the next level.
A few things to know about Smed Wakesurfing:
EPS/ EPOXY
I use primarily EPS/Epoxy construction which is more expensive than a traditional Polyurethane board,
but much more durable requiring fewer repairs, less down time, and a longer lasting board.
4 WAY FIN SYSTEM
Smed Wakesurfing is also the first and only Wakesurf company to offer the unique 4WFS (4 Way Fin System) adjustable fins,
allowing riders to fine tune their board to different wakes for optimum performance.

There is not a lot of money in making wakesurf boards (just ask my wife), but the true satisfaction comes from designing
and creating wakesurfers that people are truly proud to own and stoked to ride!
PERFORMANCE
I'm committed to selling wakesurfers that ride and perform well. Each of my designs has been through extensive testing.
I will not put a board out in the market unless I'm fully satisfied with its performance.
